My love of food began with my grandmother. When I was little, my Italian grandma patiently taught me how to chop vegetables and be her “right-hand girl” in the kitchen. All the best and most satisfying meals I have ever eaten have come from a home kitchen; made with love. My hope is to document the culinary stories and traditions of various families and individuals in order to revive the oral traditions that make food memorable. In our lives the food we cook, eat and choose to feed our family and friends with keep us intertwined with nature and one other.
